Well, where do I begin??? The bottom line - we have a mortgage of ?10k on a ?40k property with 19ys remaining. We owe ?4k on the old credit cards & have been going through the CCCS since Nov ‘05 to repay the creditors. We are NOT behind with the mortgage, council tax etc.

On ?8,500 mortgage on daily interest at 6.5%. How much interest would I be paying a day please? I would be grateful if anyone could work this out please.

…and I currently have a two year fixed rate mortgage with the Alliance & Leicester. I expect that I can let the existing mortgage run to the end of the fixed term before changing to a buy to let….but do I have to inform the lender about my change of circumstances? Please also correct me if I am wrong about being able to wiat until the end of the fixed term before switching mortgage.

Hi I am hoping that someone knows whether a UK based lender would remortgage my property on the Isle Of Man? I have tried looking through some of the main lenders and can’t really find anything. The property is a converted flat and we only have one lender here who is willing to lend on this type of property.

As above, I’m completely new to Mortgages and trying to educate myself. I’ve applied to MOAT and the last thing to do on my list to complete the application is to obtain a Mortgage in Prinicpal Offer, which I assume they use to decide how much assistance to offer.

Would anyone know as a self employed contractor with less than 3 years worh of audited accounts, if it is possible to get a full status mortgage rather than going the self-cert route?? Thanks in advance Phil
