Back on August 25th I mentioned that The Day The Earth Stood Still will be released in December 2008. For those of you who don’t know its  a remake of the 1951 classic sci-fi film about an alien visitor and his giant robot counterpart who visit Earth.

Promotions for the upcoming sci-fi remake The Day The Earth Stood Still is slowly heating up. The first salvo is a series of photos from the movie itself. I have posted one of the more awesome visuals in that series here. The movie stars Keanu Reeves as the alien Klaatu.

FOX Studio really does it up at Comic-Con 2008 with Keanu, Jennifer Connelly (The Day the Earth Stood Still) Mark Wahlberg, Ludacris (Max Payne) and a surprise appearance by Hugh Jackman with footage “from his bag” of Wolverine.
