Celebrity darkness
http://tzt.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 08/ celebrity-darkness.html"The darkness doesn't hurt anybody. It's just a little bit famous." - Mantra of unknown origin, repeated whenever Dec crosses the dark divide of the big upstairs room at night. Subscribe in a reader

The fideicommissum of my achoo
http://tzt.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 08/ fideicommissum-of-my-achoo.htmlI've been prone since Friday afternoon, when a nasty summer cold walloped me into bed. I missed a birthday party, a couple of nice days and a dog festival, but I saw a lot of television. I watched Olympic synchronized swimming and the movie Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus.

The Perfect Storm - Of Freaks
http://librarianwoes.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 08/ 13/ the-perfect-storm-of-feaks/I desperately need Summer to end. Not the warm sunshiny part, the hectic amped-up ADHD schizoid part that comes along with it. Every day I think that it couldn’t get any worse, and I am promptly proven wrong for entertaining the idea. Case in point - Today. Today will henceforth be know as “Hell On Earth Day,” @ the Library.

Freak Assault
http://librarianwoes.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 08/ 07/ freak-assault/Today the Library was a high tide of lunacy. I don’t know where to begin, nor do I know if I have it in me to elaborate at length about my day… Suffice it to say that between the crazed people I called to alert them that their Inter library loans arrived (people who are having conversations or are

It's official: No cancer
http://tzt.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 08/ its-official-no-cancer.htmlThe docs didn't seem worried, and apparently there was, in fact, no need to be, because the lump tested negative for cancer. You know, I had no idea how much the presence of this mysterious little lump of cells had been gnawing at my subconscious until it was finally removed. I feel unburdened.

The 'Super Happy Super Hero'
http://tzt.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 08/ super-happy-super-hero.htmlA couple of nights ago, Declan saw a video of a girl talking about the solar system while making a mobile online. Afterwards, he followed me through the house as I tried to make dinner and do other things: "I want to make a mobile and talk to you about the planets, mama." We have around a dozen

So long, little invader
http://tzt.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 07/ so-long-little-invader.htmlMy brother called me on the way home from the hospital to ask "So, was it your long-lost twin?" To which I replied: "Yes. Poor Aron (I meant Jesse Garon, but heck, I just had surgery). I will bury him next to the swimming pool." When you are born into a medical family, a dark sense of humor isn't unusual.

Therapy
http://lifeofchuckles.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 07/ 25/ therapy/Therapy July 25, 2008 by The Chuckle Therapy session yesterday was a total joke, mainly my fault. I gave a perfect interview - it was like watching Parky, said all the right things, sat there with one leg crossed over the other, totally at ease, relaxed confident etc. It was rot, total rubbish.

Normal Country
http://saudijeans.org/ 2008/ 07/ 24/ normal-country/In a moment of frustration yesterday, I posted this rant on Twitter: “If only we were living in a normal country…” Apparently the short sentence struck a chord among my fellow twiterrers and a meme was born. Here’s some examples: 7anno: that’s “if” CivilLizard: If only anyone can come up with what’s normal for the majority or can find me a country they can call normal.
