It has been said, that “Diamonds are a girls best friend”. Many women covet these sparkly gems and dangle them from every possible appendage. We do not, however, dangle underdeveloped fetuses. BLECH! Why, WHY would anyone want to dangle THIS horrific thing from their neck?

Ok so as Im sure most of you know, the blogosphere has been full of the dramz lately. Can I for one say IM OVER IT. I don't partake in ANY of the bullshit. But I see it happen and a friend of mine has been personally attacked by bloggers, almost on a daily basis. Let me say this.

Twilight comes out this weekend, and the fans are looking even crazier than those Harry Potter kids who wanted to stage a massive protest when Warner Bros. pushed the release date of Half Blood Prince back eight months. Clearly there is something about fantastical movies intended for children that crushes minds.

As gossip sites go, a lot of them leave me cold. But I’m a huge fan of Dlisted. I check in several times daily to see what the hilariously funny Michael K has to say about the current crop of fame-hungry no-marks that count as stars these days, and anyone who reads regularly will know the two top targets for his snarky sense of humour.

Just over a year ago, we spent our first night in Delhi in my company’s guest apartment at Hamilton Court, twenty-three stories above Gurgaon’s potholed streets. Of the three available bedrooms, our company allocated the biggest to Jenny and I. In an absurdly huge apartment, it was a comically big room, larger than our entire apartment back in Brooklyn.
