Foxtons lose commission to Hamptons on appeal...

Why I am I writing about this? Because the story's interesting - in a technical kind of way - and might have repercussions for estate agents in the future.

Agency predicts grizzly estate agent cull, Foxtons staff leave first

Savills come away unscathed from upmarket agency bust-up

Hamptons suggested the numbers were awry and that Savills had deliberately left off Foxtons.
