Yesterday was a fine day for an open studios visit, and the Fort Point Artwalk definitely delivered. Here are a few shots from my wanderings around this art-loving neighborhood in Southie (which, as I discovered on Saturday evening on my way to see the Death Cab show, also serves a fantastic lamb burger).

I was instantly blown away after seeing just a tiny tiny photograph online of Carl Dern's chandeliers, and after seeing more of his collection, I was highly impressed. Each piece is so delicate and carefully put together.

I am totally smitten by the charming patterns and colors used by MOZI in all of their products. Started by two Australian sisters, Camilla and Olivia Tipler, the creative duo designs items for the home under six categories: accessories, bathroom, kitchen, stationery, living, and gift packs.

Somehow during my endless internet searching, I stumbled upon this cute little site called Frank. According to the site, it is "a space for British alternative applied arts and contemporary craft; for the handmade and the home-made; for the original, the quirky and the downright eccentric." Just looking at the pictures of their shop in Kent makes me want to go inside.
