There is a big difference between .Net and a hair net. For example, .Net (or DotNet) is software that can be installed on computers running the Microsoft Operating System. Hair nets cannot be installed on anything but your noggin.

.Net comes in several different versions and service packs and can cost hundreds of dollars. Hair nets usually come in packs of 12 and each pack only costs a couple of dollars.

.Net can only be run on a computer that is running a Microsoft Operating System. However, a hairnet can be put on any head. It doesn’t matter what the size of the head is or what color of hair it is containing. Hairnets are no respecter of persons.

If you are on the market for internet real estate and buy and sell sites it’s important to understand if .Net is being used in the coding of those sites. However, if you are buying or selling sites, it does not matter if the person buying the site is wearing a hairnet or even if they like hairnets.

Remember the differences between .Net and hairnets because the best web hosting can be done by someone wearing a hairnet or not. To become an expert on .Net you can search the blogosphere high and low, or go directly to the .Net Developers Blog, to learn all there is to know.
