  I have a 98 tacoma ext cab SR5 v6 5spd 4x4 and was wondering if anyone has used Red Line 75W90 GL-5+ Gear Oil in their transfer case? I know its a hypoid oil but I have a couple quarts laying around and would like to use it if possible. will it cause any problems? If I shouldnt use this what should I use?

  Hi, Would a 1998 5sp, 6cyl 4Runner have the exact same trasmission as a 1998 5sp, 4cyl 4Runner? I have a rusted out 98 with a perfect 2.7 motor.
