Well, as you can see: #1 - I haven't blogged for 3 whole days! Wow, I have been a busy lady, and I finally caught the cold that has been going around; no fun. #2 - I am never going to make it through all 30 things I will miss about Biola until after graduation.

It's been a fun, albeit odd, weekend in many respects. My weekends are generally spent running to and fro, hanging with the usual suspects, going to the dog park, cramming in so much that it becomes a blur by Sunday night. This weekend, I did a lot more of going with the flow, and here's how that turned out.

Look what I got in the mail! Lol… Actually, I received this bestselling book from Sean Maher of Da Capo Press (Perseus Books Group) in the middle of last month… while I was coaching module 2 of The Patterns Of Excellence (Yes, I have not updated on that yet… Maybe I’ll make another posting with pictures for you guys soon).

#21 - Intramural Sports (specifically, Longis Magongis games) It is with sad news that I begin this blog tonight; "Yeah Yeah, Longis Magongis" has lost in the playoffs. If they would have won tonight, then they would have been on their way to the championship game on Thursday night.

Friday at Philippians bible study we talked about what in our lives might be blocking the joy Paul describes in Philippians. I said that for me not being in the Word and in prayer enough was definitely playing a role because it was preventing me from developing a deeper and more solid relationship with God.

The signs that winter is upon us! With only a month to go until it is officially winter, it really is starting to cool down. It felt like over night the weather changed. Sunny one day (for the ANZAC Day march - which I am positive everyone was appreciative of) and raining and max of 12degrees the next.

ANZAC DAY I think by now most of you would have worked out that Tim is a serving member in the Australian Army. He has been deployed overseas twice and I am blessed to have had him return safely home on both occasions. He did have close calls on both of his deployments - the first saw a group of them shot at on the boarder and the second saw him struck by lightning.

Unexplained Absence! Sorry about that everyone. Tim came home from work last Tuesday to tell me that he was heading to Canberra for the night and a course on Wednesday and Thursday and had to drive over - So the kids and I went for the drive too.
