Canon 70-300 IS USM Lens Overview
http://www.reviewdigitalcamera.info/ tips/ accessories/ canon-70-300-is-usm-lensWhen we go to bed at night, we all expect a safe, quiet night in our own homes. Unfortunately, this isn’t always the case and there are a lot of thugs out there who would love to ruin your night. Even though police forces everywhere work hard at keeping the piece, they can’t be everywhere all the time.

Flight of the Bumblebee
http://www.fotoblography.com/ 2008/ 05/ 03/ flight-of-the-bumblebee/I was shooting photos around the house the other day and was zoomed way in on this flower with my new Tamron 70-300 lens when I saw a bee starting to buzz around it. I quickly aimed the camera to the flower he was flying towards and ended up getting this shot.

http://www.fotoblography.com/ 2008/ 04/ 26/ reeds-and-bee/I took this photo last weekend while testing my new Tamron 70-300 lens. I was taking a macro shot and I think it came out really well. As a surprise bonus I got a bee buzzing by that came out pretty clear in the photo. It is on the right hand side of the picture in case you did not see it.

http://www.fotoblography.com/ 2008/ 04/ 20/ review-of-tamron-70-300-di-ld-macro/…As I have said in my last couple of blog posts I recently ordered and received a new lens the Tamron 70-300 Di LD Macro. I was looking for a lens for my Pentax K10d that could get in closer for wildlife pictures and after a lot of research this seemed like the most affordable solution.

Squirrel on Tree
http://www.fotoblography.com/ 2008/ 04/ 19/ squirrel-on-tree/As promised here is another shot I took today with my new lens the Tamron 70-300 Di LD Macro. I barely saw this little squirrel in the tree he blended in so well with it. He looks pretty comfortable laying on that branch. I am pretty happy with this lens so far it.
