The other day I was walking down the street and saw this couple kissing while leaning on a car. The kissing lead to groping and a bit more – all on the street in broad daylight. As I approached the car I noticed they were leaning against the window and there was an elderly man sitting right next to the window!

George Michael Forum, Inglewood Wednesday, June 25th Personable and poignant, George Michael was a far cry from the cocky and sometimes even smug young pop star of the late ’80s and ’90s, during his recent appearance in the Los Angeles area at the Forum in Inglewood.  Michael is, of course, older now, and so are his fans, to varying degrees.

First time I've done this, but I deleted yesterday's post about the gentlemen who was caught after robbing a number of banks in my area. I received an anonymous comment from someone asking for prayer and compassion for the man's family. It was clear to me that this anonymous commenter may also know the man and his family.

I didn't have a lot of time to devote to ATFE today as we took a day trip and I was only able to stitch on it this evening. I finished the half stitches in the square and started on the backstitching.

That saying could not be more true :) A Time for Everything. I started this as a SAL with Dawn, WAY back when-but again lost interest when I started stitching smalls. I love this piece, as I love all things seasonal and will be happy to *hopefully* finish it in the not so distant future!

I don’t know if you have all heard about this Republican representative named Sally Kern, and the speech that she gave about her views on homosexuality, but it is apparently all over the interwebs. I heard about it last week, but didn’t really feel a need to shine a light on yet another hateful rant that someone felt the need to give showing their bigoted views against homosexuality.
