Firing Up And Taking Off The American Way This past weekend I attended the 29th Annual Quechee Hot Air Balloon, Craft and Music Festival in Vermont with my NEPE photo group. (541 images). The above picture fits this challenge to a T.

Our June Photo challenge for FUN only, is The American Flag. Find a flag anywhere, on a flag post, a building, painted on something....or just the red, white & blue colors. You can even use a child's drawing as long as it has the red, white & blue colors.

JUDGED Category The Magic hour, or Golden hour is the first & last hour of sunlight. It's the 1/2 hour before the sun rises, & 1/2 after the sun rises. It's also the 1/2 hour before sunset & 1/2 hour after. So with this challenge you will need a tripod & a timer or a remote.

My entry was taken at Zion. Bob knows it takes a lot for me to get up and get out so early. We both were thrilled viewing the event, The Magic Hour at Zion. I thought this would be a neat thing to take part in, so why not? This time around, they're looking for something aged, so I took my trusty leaf and boosted the brights and lowered the saturation, and you know what? I pretty much wound up right where I started when the picture came out of the camera.
