I've re-worked four of the mixed media pieces I'm taking over to Bruce Mines tomorrow. For example, Moondance (pictured) used to look like this. Probably the best thing about being in the Four and Friends exhibition is getting to know the other artists and talking them about our mutual passion.

Well another sale! .... my recent acrylic painting of a nude has sold. I renamed it 'Solitude' and entered it into the Otago Art Society's Member Exhibition in Dunedin. A lady came in looking for a small watercolour and bought my canvas instead!

Oooh cute! More fimo nail art I’ve been working on making the fimo nail art a product I could sell at my booth at the RiverFront. So I needed to get packaging made. This is my usual hang tag, just slit to allow the zipper baggie top to slide through. And then of course changing the description and price to be adjusted for the nail art. Works for me.

I've tried paint cracking techniques before and have always loved the look but I must admit...the time it took really made it a rare event for me to try.

Reported by: Tami Bayer Golden fluid acrylic paints are highly pigmented artist grade paints. These are not your inexpensive $1 a bottle paint that you can get at the big box stores. In fact they are quite spendy going for $3.63 to $6.15 per one ounce bottle, depending on the color.
