    Asian Students: Victims of “Diversity”

    http://mu-warrior.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 07/ asian-students-victims-of-diversity.ht…

From Minding the Campus, an account of how an inconvenient minority is being victimized in the name of “diversity.” One of the least-kept secrets in higher education is the fact that many colleges and universities, especially the more select ones, consciously seek to suppress their “Asian” student enrollment.

Semi-Literate Michelle Obama Got By On Affirmative Action [Reader Post]

    http://www.floppingaces.net/ 2008/ 07/ 01/ semi-literate-michelle-obama-got-by-o…

There is a little ugly-but-true hit piece (the best kind) on Michelle Obama from Dinesh D’Souza at Townhall. Consider the case of Michelle Obama. She was raised in a two-parent, middle-class family. She applied to one of America’s top universities, Princeton, and was admitted.

One of the things I do for my job at the LCCR is help "clip" articles from around the country relating to civil rights and related areas each morning. The articles are saved into del.icio.us and come up in a feed on our website.

    Equality ??

    http://boso.me.uk/ 2008/ 06/ 30/ equality/

Last week, the British government put forward plans to introduce a new law that will allow firms to discriminate in favour of female and ethnic minority job candidates . The entire country has been debating this since it was announced, with most people it would seem against the idea.

    Logical Conclusion?

Blog Glob: "Diversity Meets Data at George Mason Law"

    http://westallen.typepad.com/ idealawg/ 2008/ 06/ blog-glob-diversity-meets-data…

Excerpt from the article (Inside Higher Ed): The American Bar Association considers, as part of its accreditation requirements, a law school’s commitment to a diverse student population. For top-ranking institutions, that usually means some combination of aggressive outreach, race-conscious affirmative action and on-campus support services to help recruit and retain underrepresented minorities.

A Black Liberal's View Of Educational Affirmative Action

    http://bookerrising.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 06/ black-liberals-view-of-educational.h…

Mark M. a reader of Booker Rising, emailed this piece: As Stephen Carter stated in his book “Reflections of An Affirmative Action Baby,” I got into my law school because I am black. You know what? I have never been embarrassed or ashamed of that fact. I’ve actually been quite proud.
