    http://www.removethelabels.com/ 2008/ 07/ 04/ im-from-your-mobile-phone-no-downl…

Well, after the Google Talk announcement for the iPhone and iPod Touch Mobile Safari browsers yesterday, Gizmo Project - which until my Nokia N810 I had rarely used since all of my contacts were either on Skype or other IM protocols (MSN, Yahoo, AIM, ICQ) - announced the ability to use IM via your cellphone.

    http://www.ghacks.net/ 2008/ 07/ 04/ dig-digsby-you-have-good-reason-to/

Have you heard of Digsby yet? If not, it’s about time you do. Digsby is a multi-network chat client. Doesn’t sound like that big a deal? Use Pidgin or Miranda already? Well Digsby has a couple more cards up its sleeve, along with your Chat accounts Digsby also aggregates social network accounts and email.

Hands-On Google Talk for iPhone (Verdict: Stick with Installer.app) [Webapps]

    http://gizmodo.com/ 397871/ hands+on-google-talk-for-iphone-verdict-stick-with-i…

Google's brand new Gtalk webapp for the iPhone is as crappy as I expected it would be. It has a nice design, and sending messages was easy, but at the end of the day it's still running in Safari—which means if you get a call you are signed out of chat.

Record IM video on the network?

    http://www.infosecpodcast.com/ 2008/ 07/ record-im-video-on-the-network/

A friend of mine is works in the financial services market. His company has a need to record Instant Messenger video sessions (think AOL and MSN webcam ) and archive them. They need to do this on the network as opposed to having client software do it locally on the desktop.

IM Feeds: An Instant Messaging RSS reader

    http://startupmeme.com/ 2008/ 06/ 30/ im-feeds-an-instant-messaging-rss-reader/

If you’re sick of getting updates by manually refreshing websites, then you should give IM Feed a chance. It is actually a bot that interacts with specific commands adequately (atleast there is a bot which is used positively). The robot supports all the prominent Instant Messaging networks which include AIM, Google Talk, MSN and Yahoo.

Viral Marketing Talk by Jennifer Laycock at PodCampOhio

    http://marketingconversation.com/ 2008/ 06/ 30/ viral-marketing-talk-by-jennifer…

I have been trying to record some of the sessions at PodCampOhio but since my lovely Nokia N95 8GB isn’t working with 3G (thanks, AT&T 3G for breaking on me), I have been doing my best using Qik with EDGE, which sucks.

    Communication [Part 2]

    http://billcammack.com/ 2008/ 06/ 28/ communication-part-2/

Continued from Communication [Part 1] So now we get to the point where people have this expectation of entitlement to intrusion. This is one of the reasons why I wrote “Digital Internet Snobbery”. I was getting flak from someone because I am not available by text.

The logon requirements for AOL/AIM, Yahoo, Movable Type, WordPress, LiveJournal, and Vox all support OpenID which makes this possible.
