It seems hoteliers are becoming an increasingly elusive bunch, their millions-of-pounds-worth of business deals and hotel savoir-faire elevating them above the status of us mere mortals, crouching on the floor until the god-like beings decide to throw a morsel of knowledge our way.

Last night Sir Alan Sugar admitted that he struggled to make up his mind over who to choose Lee or Claire but it was Lee who won in the end. Sir Alan Sugar said that “It is a terrible moment when you’ve got two great people and I had to make my mind up. But I saw the way that Lee was focused and passionate when things were going wrong.

Last week we learned that Lee McQueen lied on his CV, but it seems as Sir Alan did not hold that against him and has hired him. McQueen has won The Apprentice, and with that has now been offered a job from Sir Alan Sugar, he will now earn £100,000.

Apprentice boss, Sir Alan Sugar has hit out at claims that he sits on a booster seat in the boardroom to make him appear more imposing. Sugar told the Press Association: “That’s a load of rubbish. The chair is fixed to stop it moving backwards and forwards while allowing me to swing to the left and the right.”.
