Alice Springs rape case abandoned due to poor video equipment

It is the second time the sexual assault trial against Hubert Pareroultja has been abandoned because of problems with the Alice Springs Law Courts equipment.

Aboriginal teen steals purse 75-year-old nun

The teenager approached the 75-year-old in a car park yesterday and asked her for money, police said. When the nun pulled out her wallet, the teenager - believed to be about 18 years old - snatched her purse, then ran off.
