Aliza Shvarts, she of the miscarriage art that caused such a stir at Yale a few months back, has been hiding out since April, even declining to come to graduation. But for everyone who hoped that her fifteen minutes were up, bad news. Shvarts is back on the art scene, and not at any old two-bit gallery.

Another beautiful idea: When we were taken out of Mitzrayim, it was not because we truly deserved HaShem's salvation, really. We were on such a low of level of tuma(impurity) that had we stayed in Mitzrayim any longer, we would have been lost to HaShem. At that time we were on the 49th level of tuma.

Yesterday, Bre Ann and Jase invited Aliza and I out to Northwest Farms to pick some peonies and take some pictures. There weren’t a ton of flowers in bloom, but they were beautiful! Bre Ann gave me some of these lovely flowers as part of my birthday present! Thank you, they are making me smile right now!

Who is the fairest of them all? It is you Aliza Loo! Thanks for the great pictures Carmen…and for taking such good care of Miss Aliza for me!

When people look forward to something, they usually make a countdown. For example: When you’re really excited to be finishing the school year you count down the days until the end, crossing off each day as you go along.

Aliza Grace is growing. 9 months old today. It is crazy to think that she has been out of my belly longer than she was in there! How does it go by so fast? She is an amazing little girl. It is such a privilege to be her mama. Let’s see…this month Aliza got her first tooth! Pretty exciting, but very sad.

Aliza Lapierre ran the Pineland Farms 50 mile this past Saturday up in Maine and finished in 7:42 and was the first female overall. Congrats Aliza!
