Amanda Beard

She's not a horrible swimmer (anyone who wins two Olympic gold medals isn't a total lead ship) but Amanda Beard made waves in the pool not so much with her championship breaststroke, but instead her ... no, actually that's exactly what she's known for.

Prior 2007, she was well known as a hottie athlete, but wearing a skin-tight swimsuit and pool cap wasn't skimpy enough for her. Beard became famous (notorious?) for posing nude in a 2007 issue of Playboy Magazine. After the initial topless spread, Beard progressed to stripping for animals in a PETA campaign encouraging people not to wear fur.

She didn't do so hot in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, and the only award she won was being romantically linked to Michael Phelps, which she denied, famously saying, "Eww, no. Come on, I have really good taste." So if the most decorated Olympian in history isn't good enough for her, men, don't hold your breath for her phone call on a Saturday night.
