    Baphuon Temple, Cambodia

    http://flsam.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 07/ baphuon-temple-cambodia.html

The Baphuon temple was built around 1060, before the royal city of Angkor Thom was built around it. Largely collapsed and in ruined condition, the main temple area is undergoing extensive restoration and is not open to the public. The exterior entry gate and elevated walkway are open.

    The Deep and Ancient Carvings

    http://stuckincustoms.com/ 2008/ 07/ 02/ the-deep-and-ancient-carvings/

This was shot about an hour outside of Siem Reap in a remote temple that is not often visited. I was very happy to go and explore all the reliefs…. I could not recommend it more!

    Bayon Temple

    http://flsam.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 06/ bayon-temple.html

After entering through the South Gate, we visited the beautiful Bayon Temple which lies in the heart of Angkor Thom. Bayon Temple was built about a century after Angkor Wat. It is unlike most of the other temples; no walls surround the terrain, and the style is Buddhist.

    Siem Reap'sTuk-Tuk

    http://flsam.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 06/ cambodiastuk-tuk.html

We have some free time during the afternoon after some shopping at Central Market. So we walked outside the hotel and this Tuk-Tuk offered to us a 2-hour city tour for US$5.00 for 4 pax. In Siem Reap, Tuk-Tuk is a very popular mode of transport here and each Tuk-Tuk can sit 2-4 persons.

Floating Villages of Chong Khneas @ Tonle Sap

    http://flsam.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 06/ floating-villages-of-chong-khneas-tonle.htm…

After check in to hotel, we proceed to visit Tonle Sap, the "Great Lake' of Cambodia located 10kms south of Siem Reap and the largest in Asia. The amazing lake and river system of the Tonle Sap is quite unique. This vast lake; the largest in SE Asia, fills with the waters of the Mekong each year, bringing vast numbers of fish and irrigation during the dry season.

Prum Bayon Hotel @ Siem Reap

    http://flsam.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 06/ prum-bayon-hotel-siem-reap.html

Our hotel accommodation @ Siem Reap is this 3-Star Prum Bayon Hotel whih is located about 2 km from the city centre. I would prefer a more central location at the city centre so that we can move about more easily to explore the city. The facility hre are pretty basic and it has satellite TV with lotsa of channels and Malaysia TV1 too.
