Do you want to look and feel particularly old? What does anti-aging really mean? What effect do anti-aging therapies have on your expenses? Do you truly believe that there is a medication that you can take and instantly age backwards?

The cures and treatments for what'll ail you sooner or later include cosmetic surgery, creams, diets, drug therapies, exercises, eye drops, hair treatments, lotions, nutraceuticals, and skin treatments. These are just some of the subjects mentioned in blog posts tagged "anti-aging," while the Senate Special Committee on Aging has its own resources webpage for information.

Recently a "stem cell facelift" was mentioned at the World Academy of Anti-Aging and Cosmetic Medicine in France. This is certainly one way to counteract the effect of genes such as sirtuins which, stimulated by fasting or the red-wine chemical resveratrol, may have an impact on the tolls of aging.

Touching upon the monetary matter, the National Women’s Health Resource Center has noted that "When it comes to healthy aging, financial issues are also at the forefront of women’s minds." But could there be anti-aging treatments that simply slow down some of the ravages of aging and also save large sums of money? The University of Missouri's Professor K. Krishna Sharma, indicating a way out in his field of study, offers one solution — even if it is incidental -- when he says, "If we are successful, we could delay the aging process in the eye."
