Arcade

Teenagers love to go to the arcade. It is still a popular hangout, even with Xbox, Play Station, and Gamecube. It may just be that getting out and meeting your peeps at a central location puts some gravy on the game playing experience, or it may even be that the beeps, boinks, and blapas in stereo surround sound helps them to get their groove on while they compete on their favorite arcade machine in attempt to reach the high score.

The arcade of yesteryear is much different than the arcade of the here-and-now. You can still play Pac Man and Donkey Kong at the Nickelcade, but modern day arcades also provide such a realistic experience that Grandpa and Grandma may want to scoot back. In an arcade you can dance, ride motorcycles, ski, and basically do anything in a virtual setting that you can do in real life. The shake, rattle, and roll of some of the games add a new dimension to the plain, old eating pellets of Pac Man.
