Just finished this book. I’m not into epic journey type of books like Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, etc. Usually, I like reading biographies written by female. Among my favorites are Memoirs of a Geisha and just added to my list, Belle de Jour: Diary of an Unlikely Call Girl.

Jhan celebrated her birthday last Dec. 15. Although due to some circumstances, it was already Dec. 16 when we celebrated it. Phoebe and Nino were already at Shangri-La around dinner time. Mac and I arrived by 10PM. Jhan was nowhere to be seen as she was still in her workplace’s Christmas party.

Roger Vivier, the French luxury shoemaker, plans to open its first Italian flagship store in Milan this coming February.
