I saw an interesting comment in this week’s issue of Private Eye about how the UK government is refusing to offer asylum to Iraqi’s who helped the British forces - such as Arabic translators - working in Iraq. As the Allied forces withdraw, they leave behind their Iraqi “collaborators” who are now facing retribution from some sectors of the country.

British judges charged that security services colluded in the unlawful detention and facilitated the interrogation of a UK resident detained in Pakistan six years ago. The high court ordered the foreign secretary to hand over to Binyan Mohamed’s legal team secret information that could support his case that he was tortured in Pakistan and Morocco before being sent to Guantanamo Bay prison.

Don’t blame this kid for being a muslim; blame the EU and the UK for allowing them in. Anyone who thinks this kids views differ from any of the other hundreds of millions of teenage minions scattered around the world are living with their heads buried in the sand.
