Charter
Chartering a boat for the day or week can be a great adventure. For the dedicated or the novice fisherman; a fishing charter can be the perfect holiday. When you are selecting a charter service consider the type of fish you are targeting; freshwater or saltwater and the type of location (reef or wreck, inshore, near shore or deep water). Some fishing charters will specialize in a particular species such as steelhead trout.
The cost you are willing to spend will have a direct impact on the type and location of charter for hire. Some boats will charge a flat fee, while others use a per person model. In some cases the boats hire by the day or week, others are available for a set number of hours. Check with local bait and tackle shops for recommendations and reviews of potential charters. Puerto Vallarta fishing is a very popular destination for fishing enthusiasts. Registering for a tour before reaching Puerto Vallarta is a wise move for foreign travelers.
Charter blogs are tremendous reference sources for everything related to the location, boat, captain or fish targeted. The Fishing Creation hosts a series of blogs and includes a space for your contributions to the blog area.
