Cherry Blossoms
http://hanapurse.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ cherry-blossoms.htmlWhen I moved here in June last year, we planted two different cherry blossoms. They are not for cherries but for flowers to see. This spring, it was our first time to see them blooming. Oh, they are beautiful. In Japan, whenever cherry blossoms bloom, people go under the trees and have a party with their friends or co-workers.

"Cherry Blossoms"
http://marilynwebberley.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 04/ cherry-blossoms.html8 x 6"oil on wooden panel I stopped by the Japanese Garden in Washington Park on my way home from town several days ago. Joy
http://faerierebecca.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ joy.htmlI had to name her Joy. Every time I look at her I smile! I have one more 16" doll that I want to make, and then I'm going to ease off and return to needlefelting. If you're a fan of the 50s, you're going to love my 1950s girl doll, which I'm making for the SFEtsy Team May challenge.

Looks Promising
http://sunnysideellen.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 12/ looks-promising/On Friday I talked to my uncle in Germany and sort of complained about the lack of white asparagus and sour cherries here. He patiently listened to me and suddenly said:” Seems to me that your move to Canada was not such a great idea after all.” Well, if you put it that way… As to the the cherries he suggested growing my own.
