There’s No Substitute For A Bad Job (Limerick and Haiku Prompt) February 15th, 2008 Today’s limerick and haiku theme is bad jobs. Why? Because everyone I know has had at least one really awful job. So, what happens when you have one biological child and then adopt a sibling group of 3 from Liberia? 1. Your biological son learns to speak perfect "Liberian English," of course! It is VERY funny! Our oldest child insists that he cannot help but speak what we affectionately call "Liberian English" because "it is inborn, mom!" Hmmm.

Thomas said this to Katherine, " I'll give you money if you give me a dollar" Isn't it crazy how they pick up on what money is at such a young age???

Okay so we're at church the other day and I was sitting next to Thomas on the bench and I was holding Ethan. At some point during the meeting I see Thomas taking his pointer finger and "wiping" something on the bench. I saw a little something on the bench afterwards.

Today I is Thomas's 3rd birthday. So I asked him if he wanted birthday presents. This is what he said, " Yes, from Santa Claus !" Just as a side note: Last night we put him to bed and he kept coming out all through the night, I wonder if we built up enough excitement in him that today would be his birthday and he just couldn't sleep because he was so excited.
