Christina Aguilera

Christina Aguilera is probably best known for being a pop music singer. She was born in December of 1980 in Staten Island, New York. Christina aspired to be a singer at an early age, singing in talent contests and competitions and blowing away the audiences. She would eventually appear on Star Search at age 8, but lost the competition.

Aguilera snagged her first big break in entertainment when she landed a part on the Mickey Mouse Club. She starred alongside Keri Russell, Ryan Gosling, Justin Timberlake, and Britney Spears. At age 14, Christina recorded her first song with a Japanese singer. In 1998, she was selected to record a song for the soundtrack to Mulan and was eventually signed to a record contract.

Years later after several successful albums and tours, Christina Aguilera is still going strong. She has been known for her development as an artist and her powerful singing voice. Aguilera also recently celebrated ten years in the music industry with a greatest hits package entitled Keeps Getting Better. She also recently gave birth to a son.
