I have only a slightly sunburned neck and these daffodils to remind me of the glorious 78 degree sunny Saturday last. Now its cold and rainy again. Anyway, enough with my complaints about the manic-depressive weather patterns around here. I sat and worked on more flower drawings. This is the best of the lot.

This was one painting that I did first in colored pencils. It didn't come out very vibrant, so I laid acrylics over it, but then the values or something weren't right and only one pitcher looked to be the right color. I decided to crop the painting and make two out of it so I could get the colors to come out closer to what I painted.

This is a baby goat and the bottom one is a gazelle. Acrylics for the goat and colored pencils for the gazelle.

The dragon fly is colored pencils and the duck is acrylic on canvas board

Since I've done three drawings for the A2Z project, I thought I'd post one of them now. Either tonight or tomorrow I'll post the other two. This was done with colored pencils and then I went over everything with acrylics to bring out the color a little more.
