The new Mr. T Snickers commercial, with the Speed walker. And the new Snickers - Gun Sadly, this great commercial has been pulled from the air. I guess a sense of humor is a thing of the past in advertising.

If you haven’t tuned in to Mad Men on AMC, you’re missing out. Mad Men is set in the 1960’s at a fiercely competitive Madison Avenue advertising agency in New York City. From the onset, one can’t help but be a little surprised by the dynamic of the men and women depicted during this era.

Remember that Dolce & Gabbana ad that came out in March of last year? You know…the one that caused massive outrage and was banned from certain countries? Well, any way, I call the ad, for lack of a good name or maybe just to go along with the imagery, ‘Gang Rape is a Good Thing.’ (NOT THAT I THINK IT IS A GOOD THING OR ENDORSE GANG RAPE WHATSOEVER).

The current legal battle between Viacom and Google/YouTube is going to have significant ramifications beyond today’s headlines.  It’s getting surprisingly little play amongst much of the social media digerati, but it’s something we all need to be aware of.
