DHT

DHT is a metabolite of testosterone and is considered to be one of the major factors in hair loss and male pattern baldness. DHT or Dihydrotestosterone is 3 times more potent than testosterone. It is an important part of the development of male sexual characteristics including the development of hair, sex drive and muscle development. Popular hair loss and hair growth products are often made from DHT blocking products, as the current research indicates by blocking the uptake of DHT or the conversion of testosterone to DHT the loss of hair would be reduced and the regrowth of hair is possible.
