Daniel Craig

British actor and film producer Daniel Craig was born on March 2, 1968 in Chester, Cheshire, England. He's best known for replacing Pierce Brosnan as "James Bond" in the popular film series.

Daniel Craig has appeared in a number of noteworthy film projects throughout his illustrious career, including roles in: Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001), Road to Perdition (2002), Munich (2004) and Layer Cake (2004). His big break came in 2006 when he earned the role of an actor's lifetime - playing "James Bond" in Casino Royale. With worldwide ticket sales in excess of US$594 million, Casino Royale is the highest grossing Bond film ever. Daniel Craig received rave reviews for his gritty performance and is often credited for helping to rejuvenate the "007" franchise.

Daniel Craig reprised his role as "James Bond" in the 2008 flick Quantum of Solace alongside beauties Olga Kurylenko and Gemma Arterton.

In 1992, Craig married Scottish actress Fiona Loudon, with whom he has a daughter, Ella. The couple divorced in 1994.
