Most bloggers using the tag Darwin are referring in one way or another to the Victorian scientist Charles Darwin, who laid the foundation for the theory of evolution with his On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection.

In the year 2009 it was a particularly popular topic, marking the 200th anniversary of Darwin's birth.
