Wow. Since posting the last article about my initial impressions of StumbleUpon, over 2000 people have stopped by to check it out. It has made the most popular lists on TheWebList and popurls. Even got some Sphinns. Three more sites I would have never known about if it wasn't for SU.

While in the blogtropol.us blogger lounge today, I caught up with a dapper Dave McClure of 500 Hats who took a few minutes before a PayPal reunion dinner to talk about his work helping co-chair the Web 2.0 Expo event, a little something about “AARRR” for startups and thoughts on marketing with Facebook.

In picking my session for the afternoon today at Web 2.0 Expo, I was torn between three. Two were more interesting to me personally, but I thought Profy readers would be most interested in the Startup Metrics 101 session with Dave McClure and Hiten Shah.

The second workshop of the day at Web 2.o Expo, “Startup Metrics 101: Product & Marketing Workshop” provided attendees a glimpse into the vast depth of knowledge from Dave McClure of 500 Hats who offered some pirate speak, “AARRR” to help delegates remember his model for building web businesses.
