Disqus and Seesmic Teaming Up for Video Comments
It's only been a few weeks since I integrated Disqus commenting with my blog, but I've already reached the point where it would be hard to consider what life was like before Disqus came along.

Lets disqus it
http://www.rogelsview.com/ blog-administration/ lets-disqus-it/A comment on one of the posts yesterday lead me to try a new comments service. The comment section is on the side of the post, where you should see the Disqus logo, and it suppose to have many goodies and make my life, and the random commentators lives, easier.

Video comments: Actually not so bad
http://www.mathewingram.com/ work/ 2008/ 05/ 14/ video-comments-actually-not-so-…So Disqus has enabled support for video comments from Seesmic, which launched the feature on TechCrunch awhile back. Even Fred Wilson of A VC — who is an investor in Disqus — admits in his post that he isn’t sure about whether video comments work or not.

Commenting Through Disqus
http://www.webpronews.com/ blogtalk/ 2008/ 05/ 14/ commenting-through-disqusCommenting Through Disqus By Robert Scoble - Wed, 05/14/2008 - 3:39pm. If you aren’t a blogger you probably haven’t noticed this company named Disqus unless you really are paying attention when you leave a comment. But head over to Dave Winer’s blog, click on the comments, and if you leave a comment there, like I just did, you aren’t actually leaving it on Dave Winer’s blog.

Intense Debate or Disqus? I’m torn.
http://www.bwana.org/ 2008/ 05/ 14/ intense-debate-or-disqus-im-torn/I can’t decide. I’ve used and loved Disqus in the past, but felt the data portability options were limited. I loved the data portability options of Intense Debate, but found it lacked support with FriendFeed. Recently, I went on record as to my reasons for liking Intense Debate.

.... On the other Hand... Heading back to Disqus
http://seanreiser.com/ node/ 1422So, I might seem to be the most fickle blogger on the planet but I am turning Disqus back on. There are a few things driving this: Comment Spam. I'm back to deleting a couple of comments a day because of spam.

Because you asked for it (right?): Disqus and Seesmic team up for video comments
http://venturebeat.com/ 2008/ 05/ 14/ because-you-asked-for-it-right-disqus-and-…There’s another company jumping on the video comments bandwagon. Disqus, the startup whose system powers comments for more than 13,000 blogs (including VentureBeat), is adding video through a partnership with Seesmic. You can see the system at work on Fred Wilson’s blog.

(L) China AND Human Rights
http://nixonbyname.com/ 2008/ 05/ 14/ l-china-and-human-rights/Following my post last month about the (L) China campaign, I recieved a lot of comments from people who were unhappy about my taking a measured approach to the subject. Apparently I was wrong to question China’s human rights record in any way. This was a bit disappointing, and I felt that the commenters had missed the point of the post.

Disqus Video Comments Go Live, Powered by Seesmic
http://mashable.com/ 2008/ 05/ 14/ disqus-video-comments-seesmic/Last week we reported that Disqus was set to launch video comments, and today the company has officially announced the news. The twist is that it’s powered by Seesmic – marking another distribution outlet for Loic Le Meur’s startup, following the launch of plugins to power video comments on WordPress.com and on Typepad/MovableType.

Disqus works with Seesmic to bring video comments
http://www.winextra.com/ 2008/ 05/ 14/ disqus-works-with-seesmic-to-bring-video-…This morning Disqus flipped the switch that enable users of their comment platform to use the Seesmic video system to leave video comments on member blogs that had enabled the feature. I am told that by Daniel that the feature will be automatically enabled for new Disqus members as they join so if they don’t want it they will have to head to their Disqus control panel to disable it.

Disqus: Now with 100% more video
http://blog.disqus.net/ 2008/ 05/ 14/ disqus-now-with-100-more-video/We just launched something that I think is pretty cool: video comments. Disqus partnered with Seesmic for this one. Seesmic is a new service that powers video-enabled conversations. We’re big fans over here at Disqus and we’re happy to be working with them.
