The courier trudged up the path to the front door to deliver a FedEx package today. Inside was a signed copy of the marvelous graphic novel - The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, by one of my favourite & much respected Illustrators - Kevin Cornell.

We’d like to welcome Sam King, our new Senior Developer, to the {e} house team. Sam comes to us from the land of freelance where he juggled everything from graphic, print and web design to front-end and application development.

The Russian online consumer shopping holding eHouse has acquired 003.ru, online shop that sells consumer electronics and home appliances, from Marta holding, reported CNews. Through the acquisition, eHouse becomes the leader in online shopping in Russia. According to analyst estimates, the deal is valued at $10 million.

We are pleased to have our Chalkboard Blog included in a recent article titled “25 Outstanding WordPress Designs” by Six Revisions. The piece handpicked twenty-five designs that showcase the creativity and ingenuity of the WordPress publishing platform. Six Revisions is a note worthy weblog that covers both design and developmental content.

In a recent post on the Moms Get Organized blog, author Stacey Crew interviews {e} house’s Chris Quinn on the topic of being both a mother and a successful business owner. In the MomMinute, Chris discusses {e}’s relocation from Colorado to Charleston, as well as her multiple experiences and talents in the design field.

Our site has been featured in the June 2008 issue of “Web Designing”, a monthly publication in Japan. The four page spread article is a CSS Analysis titled “Keep it simple”. We would love to know what it says, if anyone has any recommendations for a Japanese to English translation service.

After a little over a month of having to explain which door to use to find the new office at 602 Rutledge Ave. Suite B, we finally have our new signs up. Much thanks to Shane and the crew over at Brooks Signs for their super work. Check out these photos of the signs marking our new spot.
