    Nokia E71 review

    http://blog.sevenclick.com/ 2008/ 08/ 29/ nokia-e71-review/

This is maybe the best attempt from Nokia to beat RIM BlackBerry devices. It’s a mobile phone oriented for people who often use e-mail services. Because of that it includes a QWERTY keyboard to make this easier. This device has some problems if you use BlackBerry e-mail service or Exchange server.

Tracy and Matt have got to grips with an E71, and Matt gives us his thoughts in an article laced with photos of the device. He kicks off by saying it is one of the most ‘attractive’ devices that Nokia have produced, with the metal casing looking ‘classy’.

Symbian Guru’s Dotsisx has been showing off her E71 to massive plaudits – from her grandmother ! Upon seeing the device for the first time, Granny Dotsisx said that it was the ‘most beautiful’ handset her granddaughter had ever shown her (and Dotsisx lists the ones she’s produced).

Gauravonomics TV Episode 8: Only If My Nokia E71 Had an App Ecosystem

Many of you may know that I record and upload my vidcasts exclusively from my Nokia E71 smartphone. I also use my E71 almost exclusively for reading my e-mail and 150 feeds, and accessing the only four social networks I am really active on — YouTube, Flickr, Twitter and Facebook.

    Best video player for S60?

    http://www.womworld.com/ nokia/ 3903/ best-video-player-for-s60/

Scott Janousek, posting on his blog, has brought his readers a digest of some of the best S60 flash video players (rather than just video file players like DivX) on the market. EmTube gets a mention, along with screen shots and the assertion that it is Scott’s favourite – he likes the UI and says it is a ‘nice native S60’ player.

How would users change the E71?

    http://www.womworld.com/ nokia/ 3902/ how-would-users-change-the-e71/

Darren Murph at Engadget has posted a question to readers, asking them what, if anything, they would change about the E71. From the length of the comment stream, there’s quite a lot of feeling about this subject, and Mark Anderson kicks off the debate by saying he would add a 3.5mm headphone jack and Blackberry Connect support – a suggestion that gets a lot of backers.

    My Granny Diggs The E71

    http://www.symbian-guru.com/ welcome/ 2008/ 08/ my-granny-diggs-the-e71.html

Now that is one weird post title, you might say, and probably rather irrelevant to anything Symbian as we _tech lovers, Symbian addicts, Nokia fans, advanced users_ conceive it. But to distract you a bit from the recent N79 and N85 launch, and to take your mind off wondering why the hell the N85 costs less than the N96, here is a nice relaxing story for you.
