Join EPB this Sunday, August 10, at the Chattanooga Market from noon to 5 p.m. for “CFL Sunday,” a fun way to learn about energy savings and electric safety.  At the Market, EPB employees will be on hand to give away 3,000 free Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs (CFLs) and collect used CFLs for recycling.

Comcast just sued the Electric Power Board (EPB) again over their plans for a new fiber optic network that could offer an alternative cable tv solution to Chattanooga residents by the end of 2008. According to Comcast "Our intention is to ensure that EPB complies with the Tennessee Cable Act and that Comcast be allowed to compete in a fair environment.
