Evolution

Tag details

Evolution is a scientific theory that explains the diversity of life on earth, how it arrived at this point, and how it continues to change. It's "father" is usually considered to be Charles Darwin, with his On the Origin of Species.

Many bloggers are charting discoveries about the process of evolution, discussing technical debates about the details, reviewing books on the subject, or celebrating more unusual ways of looking at fossils.

The term can also be used more broadly to refer to any process of developmental change, for example in social or cultural practices or in manufactured goods and technology.
