FAT
Fat comes in two forms: solid and liquid. We use it mainly to cook. However there is fat in one form or another in most of the things that we eat whether it's cooked or not. Whenever someone has a food that has been fried it will have been fried in fat. The main fats that we will encounter are Lard (pigs fat), Butter, margarine, sunflower oil, sesame, olive, coconut and vegetable oils. All these fats can be put into two categories: saturated and unsaturated. Saturated fat has a high concentration of Triglycerides. Unsaturated is a fat or fatty acid which has one or more ‘double bonds’ in the fatty acid chain.
Foods such as whole grains, fiber (the main ingredient in most colon cleanse products) and even acai berry have been proven to help reduce weight and reduce fat percentage in humans.
