among the speculation on what facebook is application making $1 million a month, one application that was named as possible candidate was ‘friends for sale‘. not to be a kill joy but if you look at what the application is actually about, you will probably have just as hard a time as myself, believing that the application has 4.5 million active monthly users.

Last week I wrote a post about the Facebook spam problem.  The malicious thing about this spam is that it’s coming from friends’ accounts, but it’s clearly not being authored by them.  I have received more obvious spam on Facebook in the past two weeks than I have cumulatively received in the [approximately] past two years.

It looks a lot to me like FriendFeed (which I use and am a fan of) but I am not sure that this will be popular with the masses. so i went to a Rock Concert Facebook F8 yesterday, and i had a good time. yeah sure, the hype machine was in overdrive & some folks were a little underwhelmed (tho others more excited than usual). Jerry didn't show up, but Zuck was a lot more relaxed than last year, and even cracked a few funny jokes.
