With National Enquirer, People Magazine, Us Weekly and OK! Magazinecovers, it seems that Sarah Palin is a tabloid superstar.  McCain, on the other hand isn’t fairing so well, at least in newsstand sales. According to a source, the McCain family issue of People has not sold as well as the Palin cover and is even selling below the magazine’s weekly average, reports MSNBC.

France eased the pressure on Raymond Domenech and got their World Cup qualifying campaign on track with a 2-1 win over Serbia in Group Seven. Second-half goals from Thierry Henry and Nicolas Anelka helped France bounce back and give their fans some joy after last weekend’s shock defeat to Austria by the same margin.

A long-time friend of this blog emailed asking how come I hadn’t posted much on France for the past couple of months. The main reason is that I’ve been out of town, first in Florida and then in California, and have been catching up with a couple of other projects.
