To be able to do that I had to find a service, which will convert a regular address into geographical longitude and latitude.

They are all A-GPS (Assisted GPS) capable too, which greatly improves lock on times, especially from a cold start.

Google Maps API gets rooftop geocoding

This new service delivers pinpoint results for more than 50 million US addresses. This means that Google Maps will now pinpoint the exact location of a house (placing a pin on the roof of the house at the address you are searching for).
