Hair

Hair is said to be a human's crowning glory, so the thinning or loss of hair can be a devastating event. The most common form of hair loss is a progressive thinning condition or “male pattern baldness” (Androgenic Alopecia). More than 40 million men are affected by male pattern baldness in the US. Hair thinning can also be a devastating problem for women, in some cases hormonal changes, pregnancy and iron deficiency are the source of the thinning hair.

Treatments range in success. Hair loss products like finasteride and topically applied minoxidil have been successful for some. Hair replacement using surgical and replacement systems can enhance the look and thickness of hair.


Hair loss blogs are most often hosted by the manufacturer or vendors of a hair loss treatment, replacement systems or surgical procedural sites.
