Hello everyone. I am Indeed late posting this entry for Father's Day but Sunday just didn't have enough hours In the day!! lol. I only had 4 hours sleep on Saturday night so by Sunday morning I was a tad wobbly and rather hallucinogenic! lol.

I celebrated my husband on our family blog, but here I want to celebrate my own dad. I remember my dad as having all the answers, being friendly to everyone, and everyone being his friend. I still think those things, I have no idea why I wrote it in the past tense. I’m honored to be the one who was born and made him a Daddy.

Winner of the U.S. Open, Tiger Woods, hugged his daughter, held up his trophy (for the third time no less!), said he didn't feel like playing golf anymore. "I'm glad I'm done. I'm done." What does that actually mean? Is he done for a few weeks, a few months or is he hanging up his golf clubs forever? "I'm glad I'm done.

In Ilocos Norte, we do not have any fancy celebration of Father’s Day.  We just greet our dads and maybe kiss them and thank them for all that they’ve done for us through the years.  It’s quite difficult to ignore our dads during this day because some families even have a little party for their dads.  Not too fancy, just a simple get-together thing between family members.

Tiger Woods just beat Rocco Mediate in a sudden death playoff to win the U.S. Open. Woods won on the 19th playoff hole at Torrey Pines to win his 14th major. Woods was joined after his victory by wife Elin and daughter Sam Alexis who will celebrate her first birthday on Wednesday.
