    http://chicksonbikes.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 16/ pent-up-consumer-demand/

So as part of our Summer of Adventure, J and I are doing the Escape from Alcatraz race in SF in June (see previous posts) and the very next weekend doing a 143 mile bike ride from Harpoon Brewery (in Boston) to Harpoon Brewery in VT (see links). I can’t say I’ve been on my [...]

The finished tank for the LFR Street tracker. Im stoked! This is it's second incarnation with similar paint, I kinda changed it up mid stream so to speak and Harpoon done fixed it up real nice, even found me the decals I was lookin for as I only found stickers!!! The rear fender is the same, but different.

Tours: reservations are now available for for May tours. However, the fine folks at Surly have decided to shake things up a bit… like I mentioned, they’re taking reservations… in fact you’ll need one… and the only way you’ll get one is by making a reservation online… make one here! Secondly, tours will take place on Friday’s from 6-8pm.

Brew day #1 for 2008, An IPA.

    http://blog.dtkelly.net/ ?p=590

So a few weeks ago I went and bought a turkey fryer for brewing. Why? Because I’ve been told that whole wort boils are much better for your brew than boiling a few gallons and then adding the remaining in cool water. So what does this have to do with a turkey fryer? It’s very difficult to boil a whole batch of beer on the stove (pot too big).

Eat whale and save the planet

34 comments If you've seen clips of Bo Diddley performances from the early 60s, you'll surely have noticed the presence of one or more female guitarists on stage, churning out that chunky six-string rhythm alongside the esteemed Mr. Diddley. Might've been Lady Bo that you've seen or heard, or it might've been The Duchess.

    Harpoon Munich Dark

    http://www.sevenpack.net/ ?p=1497

This is another beer from our friends at the Beer of the Month Club. Honestly, I’m surprised that we haven’t reviewed this beer yet here on SevenPack. I’ve certainly had it before, on several occasion. But, we’ve never gotten around to putting it up, so this seems as good an opportunity as ever! The Munich Dark pours a very dark brown with a paper-thin caramel head.

Harpoon 100 Barrel Firth of Forth

    http://www.sevenpack.net/ ?p=1475

Harpoon recently released another 100 Barrel series beer called Firth of Forth, and I was fortunate enough to receive an invite to the public unveiling. For those of you who do not have the best geography skills, the Firth of Forth is actually the name of the estuary (or firth) of Scotland’s River Forth near Edinburgh.
