Well, for at least today, and maybe tomorrow, the talk of the town will be Clinton’s landslide win in West Virginia. To my pleasant surprise, it seems that most of the media has not gone into hysterics as I had expected, and most pundits who have finally come to grips with the math of this race did not instantly forget the mathematical impossibilities surrounding Clinton’s win.

I’m sorry, I know, this was all expected and I should just be taking everything with a grain of salt, but at the same time my anti-inanity detection and deterrent system refuses to let me pass this up.

Bad couple of weeks for The Horace Mann School. First Eliot Spitzer, now Mark Penn. I knew both of them personally. Eliot Spitzer, back then, was very capable it was evident, but also he was (what's the nice word for this?) an arrogant little snot (but I've been called worse myself).

Hillary Clinton morphs into whatever persona she believes will help her campaign in the next primary. She became Annie Oakely, Paulette Revere, and Rocky Balboa in Pennsylvania. She was weak, sensitive, and vulnerable in New Hampshire. Now for the biggest insult to West Virginia voters.

Why is Hillary staying in the race, showing no signs of giving in, when mathematically she can’t win? Bill is campaigning his heart out in West Virginia. From Jake Tapper at ABC. He can do the math. He must know that it’s quite improbable that his wife, Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., will be the Democratic presidential nominee.

John Edwards set the agenda for all the candidates in the early stages of the primary battles. He came up with the first and best comprehensive health care plan. He raised the issue of poverty as no leading politician has done for 40 years.

West Virginia, the Mountain state, is the next on the chopping block in this Democratic primary race. Yet, with only 28 delegates up for grabs and his lead now seemingly apparent according to all of the metrics used, Illinois Senator, Barack Obama seems to have already conceded the state to his opponent, New York Senator, Hillary Clinton.

Election Campaign Battle Moves to Mother’s Day Card Isle  It’s Mother’s Day tomorrow and I happen to be down here in our nations capital, and along with so many others I’m looking for a last minute Mother’s Day card. It seems the card isles at Target are also a key battle ground for the candidates.
