Liam's home sick again today and we're getting our fill of Thomas and Friends. I've always been wary of Sir Topham Hatt. The trains all seemed a little too deferential to him, and "Isle of Sodor" reminds me of a cross between "eye of Sauron" and "land of Mordor."

I've submitted an application for a community health practicum. It's extremely competitive to get a spot, but I'm hoping that my enthusiasm for rural med and health promotion will shine through enough for them to offer me a place. Basically I would get credit for going to Northern aboriginal communities and helping to deliver health care there.

I found this pic earlier this morning while sifting through some old photos. Gosh I was a dork and so was Brody… I’m not sure where we are, but we’re all retarded for this… Don’t you just love looking back on some of the funny things you’ve done in the past.

By far this was my favorite song from the Dr. Horrible’s Sing-a-long blog.  If you didn’t watch it, it’s available on I tunes for like, $2, but you can catch some snippets on YouTube.  I really can’t wait for the DVD to come out because I will totally be buying it.

So, I finally made it to Top Chef Spike's much-hullabalooed-about burger joint last night after a few failed attempts (due to hangovers, unexpected drunken evenings, cancellations, etc.)... and honestly, it was great.
