India "slows" to 7.9% GDP growth which while lower than the 5 year average is a rate Western countries would dream to have. The question is when and at what pace do they bottom? Their central bank has been extremely aggressive at raising rates to try to stem inflation.

    I dropped my new Panasonic Lumix L2 during the camel safari round Jaisalmer. Of course some sand got in and now my only camera for the rest of my stay in India is not working. I do not care much for the camera itself - I'll manage to repair it at home, it's under waranty, but in few days I go for Haridwar, Rishikesh, Gangotir without camera.
