NY Times Refuses to Report Role of Islam in Mumbai Massacre December 1st, 2008 Posted in Islam, News | From Christian Newswire Analyzing five days of coverage of the Mumbai massacre, Boycott The New York Times editor Don Feder decried The Times’ "politically correct coverage" and its refusal to describe the terrorists who perpetrated the slaughter as Islamic extremists or Muslims.

The recent Islamic terrorist carnage in India reminds everyone that India has been one the major victims of terrorism of late. Last year, Indian suffered over a thousand dead from terrorist attacks.Over 2,000 died in 2006.

A convicted robber who converted to Islam after being jailed for 12 months has been handed £10,000 funding by Midland police and council leaders as part of their campaign to ‘prevent extremism’ amongst Muslim youth.

I don't know about you but when I read headlines like, 'British Muslims have become a mainstay of the global jihad', I'm ashamed to be British. My feelings about today's front page story in The Mirror - 'Seven Mumbai gunmen are from Leeds and Hartlepool' - are best kept to myself.

Saudi Gazette runs this Reuters report on Indian concern over home-grown, Hindu extremists who target not only Muslims, but Christians as well.

Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University has a reputation for being a hotbed of extremist Islamic thought. The university is trying to change that, reports Saudi Gazette, through a get-tough policy toward teachers who seek to radicalize students. This is good timing, as the university is starting up a new women’s campus.
